The boots like nice and are structure throughout the ankle - and they actually fit in the calf!! On the narrower side in terms of the actual fit in the foot area, but I used to wear thick socks to make shoes fit better. This might just be an adjustment for boots that actually fit!

these looked a little different out of the box than i had anticipated - a little more sleek and shiny and less casual/understated, which is the look i was going for. i likely still would have kept the boots but the real problem was that they were much too tall and overwhelmed my leg once on. i’m 5’2.5 and 93 lbs with relatively long legs for my body (i can’t wear “petite” sized pants because they are too short), but unlike on the model, these approached my knee and looked a bit silly. i did not have this issue with the gabi so i think this particular boot runs particularly tall. i would assume a good number of women interested in slim calf boots are also at least semipetite and would benefit from shorter boots, so i hope slim calf boots creates shorter boots for us gals. in fact it would be great if mid calf boots were available as these often are most flattering on slim legs so as to reveal and enhance rather than overwhelm the subtler shape of slim legs. i also wishslim calf boots in general tapered less at the ankle. some slouch boots would be great too!
